Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Lavruk Journals Co llc, we’re committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your journal, we offer a straightforward return, refund, and exchange policy to make things right.

Return & Exchange Eligibility
You may return or exchange your journal within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

• The journal must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
• It must be returned in its original packaging or similar patted packaging to avoid damages during shipment.
• Proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or receipt, is required.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Refund Policy
We offer full refunds, including applicable taxes, for returned journals that meet the eligibility criteria. We do not provide a shipping label for requested returns or exchanges. When returning received items, the customer is responsible for shipping and packaging.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to notify you of the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Exchange Policy
Exchanges are available for journals that are unused and meet the return conditions. Please get in touch with us at info@thebookoffirsttimes.com; please put “EXCHANGE” in the subject line.   If you wish to exchange your journal for a different style or if your journal arrived damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. The exchange will take place only after receiving the original product. Exchanges must be of equal value and quantity, including the inability to exchange a softcover journal for a hardcover journal.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a journal that is damaged or defective, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact us at info@thebookoffirsttimes.com; please put “DAMAGED or DEFECTIVE” in the subject line.  You must do that within 7 days of receiving your order. Include photos of the damage or defect along with your order number. We will arrange for a replacement journal to be sent to you at no additional cost, or process a full refund if preferred.

Return Process
To initiate a return or exchange:

1. Contact us at info@thebookoffirsttimes.com with your order number and reason for the return or exchange. Please provide an appropriate subject line based on the information mentioned above.
2. We will provide instructions on how to return your journal.
3. Once the journal is received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange accordingly.
   
   

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without the tracking confirmation provided to us.

Returning Product Shipping Costs
Please note that we do not provide shipping labels or pay in any form for arranging your return. The customer is fully responsible for shipping costs.

Cancellations and Order Modifications
If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us at info@thebookoffirsttimes.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request. However, if your order has already shipped, you will need to follow the standard return process once the journal is delivered.

Sale Items
Journals purchased on sale or with a discount are still eligible for returns and exchanges, provided they meet all other return conditions.
